How to Book

Reservations are made online and can be placed 24 hours a day, 365 days a year (except during system maintenance). A reservation is required to ride — there are no walk-on seats.

  1. Choose your route

On the Routes & Timetables page, click the "Check seats & book" button for your service.

  2. Select your departure date

Choose the date you wish to travel and search.

  3. Pick your service

From the results for your chosen date, select the bus you want to ride.

  4. Choose stops & passengers

Select your boarding / drop-off points and the number of passengers, then continue to plan selection.

  5. Select a fare plan

Choose your preferred plan and click "Reserve".

  6. Review your reservation

Check the details, then continue to the purchase step.

  7. Enter your details / log in

First-time users register a new account; returning customers log in with their ID and password.

  8. Enter passenger details

Enter the name and gender of each person actually travelling, then continue.

  9. Choose a payment method

Select how you'd like to pay and continue to the final confirmation.

  10. Confirm & agree

Review everything, tick "I agree" to the terms and privacy policy, then complete your reservation.

  11. Reservation complete

A confirmation email is sent to your registered address. Print the email or the completion page and bring it on the day. If the email doesn't arrive, note your reservation number and lead passenger name and contact our call centre.

  12. Payment

If you didn't pay by credit card, pay by your chosen method by the deadline. Your reservation is confirmed once payment is received; unpaid reservations are cancelled automatically.

On the day — what to bring

Please arrive by the assembly time; latecomers may be unable to board. You'll need to show your reservation number, lead passenger name and proof of payment:

  • Credit card: your printed reservation completion page or confirmation email.
  • Convenience store: your payment receipt.
  • Bank transfer: your transfer record.

Onboard etiquette

  • Switch phones to silent and avoid calls; after lights-out, please don't use devices that make sound or light.
  • Rest stops are roughly every 2–2.5 hours — about 2–3 times between Kanto and Kansai.
  • All seats are non-smoking and alcohol is not permitted; smoking is only at designated areas during rest stops.
